J.J. Ghera is a San Francisco Bay area Native who started His professional dance career at 16, dancing for local theater companies.  Credits include Chicago, and grease!

​

After High School J.J. moved to Los Angeles where he continued his dance journey receiving his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology & Dance from Cal State Northridge. Simultaneously, training professionally at  Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio as a student in the work/study program for two years. As well as Millennium Dance Complex, Edge P.A.C., and International Dance Academy (IDA).

After 6 years in Los Angeles J.J.  moved to London, UK where he performed and competed with professional hip-hop crew Masters of Movement and signed with the dance agency Box Artist Management.

 

J.J. returned to the Bay area in 2014 after suffering a severe spinal injury requiring immediate surgery. After 2 years in recovery J.j. got right back to work and back doing what he loves most dancing, choreographing, teaching,  directing and slaying! you can also catch j.j. performing in drag around the city and online as Sydney bates the murderess of drag.
